Our Story
Meraki Handmade Collective started one summer in college when I opened my Etsy shop - I always dreamed of having my own business. I sewed cosmetic bags, and when I graduated college I started weaving and sharing my creations on social media. I lived in Minneapolis at the time, and started to sell my handmade products at local markets and I taught my first workshops. During the pandemic, I was a part of the Etsy x JoJo Fletcher home goods collections, and I was making thousands of my macrame coasters, with the help of a small team of friends. I also started teaching workshops virtually and selling DIY kits.
I moved to Madison in 2021, and am happy to be closer to family now. I do a few local craft markets and pop-ups throughout the year. Last year I started focusing on teaching workshops, and it has been a lot of fun. My brand has evolved into a space where I share DIY ideas and tutorials, teach workshops, and still create new products for my store - because I really do love to make things still!
You can find all of my workshops on here, and on my Facebook business page. You can shop my handmade items, and DIY supplies as well. Check out my blog for DIY's and links!
